Here are some common problems with commercial fryers:

Blocked Burners

The buildup of food particles, grease, and other debris can cause clogging in burner orifices. Orifices can become blocked if a burner doesn't turn on at all or only partially lights up.

To remove any particles that may be clogging your orifices, you can run a stiff brush across the burners. Low or inconsistent gas pressure could be the cause of the problem if the problem continues. If you have enough fuel, damaged fuel lines could be the cause of this problem.

Thermostat Malfunction

The thermostat regulates the oil temperature in the fryer. The thermostat monitors heat transfer between heating equipment and fryer basket and stops the oil from being heated to a certain temperature. It ensures the oil remains at the right temperature no matter what you are cooking.

The oil may get too hot if the thermostat is not working properly. This can cause food to become hard or dry. The oil might not heat up enough to make the food too oily or soggy. While you can reset the thermostat yourself, if your fryer is damaged or not working properly, a professional will be able to replace it.

Pilot Problems

If you have problems with your fryer's pilot light, the first thing to check is the main gas supply valve. To supply gas to your pilot light, the valve must be opened. If the pilot light isn’t working, it could be due to a blockage or air buildup in the supply line.
